This model is aimed to help our customers to reduce their capital investment cost and maintenance cost, by offering a monthly subscription based video transcoding and streaming services to them. In return, they can manage their resources effectively to achieve their business goals.

Due to the high capital investment cost on the existing encoding and streaming platforms in the market, it may create barrier to entry for most of our customers and some of the content providers, and ultimately it will impact the growth of the mobile multimedia and mobile TV market. CHL is firstly introducing a new subscription model to our customers on using our video transcoding and streaming services, including both hardware and software. Customers will only need to subscribe our services with a minimal monthly charge, it will then include all the video encoding services for different common mobile devices’ formats, plus the streaming services to all common mobile devices in the market.

It is guaranteed that there is no other capital investment cost is needed except a monthly service subscription based charge. This model is definitely ideal and beneficial to our customers or partners (developers) who would like to enter to the mobile multimedia market or develop any application with multimedia delivery capabilities on all mobile devices, including iPhone, Android, Symbian, Blackberry RIM, and many other smartphones, with minimal cost.
